The Diviner’s Tale by Bradford Morrow

by V. L. Craven

Cassandra Brooks is dowsing for water one day when she comes across the body of a hanged girl. By the time the police arrive the girl has disappeared. The journey the ensues is both personal and has repercussions that will effect the entire town.  Morrow’s prose is luminous, his characters are human and his plot is perfectly woven.
